OREGON - There's new information on the death of a 10-month-old child who was taken from corpus christi to oregon by his mother. The medical examiner in Washington County, Oregon has determined Jayden Ortiz died of sudden infant death syndrome, also known as SIDS.
Ortiz died unexpectedly on November 22, 2010. The child's paternal grandparents had raised questions regarding the child's death. The Washington County Deputy Medical Examiner tells us the results of the autopsy and toxicology prove Jayden died of natural causes.

@ Steven Romo: The reason I haven't posted this before, is I just now came accross this...As a former native of Corpus Christi, I am appalled at the audacity of anyone, even the media, for EVER listening to trash like Chris Ortiz and his mother Cindy, and going public, without any knowledge of the circumstances. People were hurt very badly by this report. Jayden was my Great Grandson, and we loved him dearly. Why not investigate and go public with the fact Chris has had "7" children, out of wedlock, and all with minors? Ever heard of statuatory rape? By the way, we sent Jayden's Mom to Oregon to get away from Chris and his abusive ways. I had been assisting in raising Jayden, by watching him while his Mom worked. The state of TX supports every one of the innocent children, that Chris has produced. His mother told him, since she was able to have only one child, to go and have as many children, as he possibly could. Pure ignorance! She taught him nothing about being responsible for them. He hadn't seen Jayden for several months prior to him leaving CC. Bet he never told you this, now did he? He is a pervert and child molester, and he needs to know there's such a thing as karma. I am praying for you, and anyone else, who went as far as accusing someone, before the facts were presented. I am proud to say, I no longer live in the city of CC. May something like this never happen to you. RIP Baby Jayden, you are our littlest Angel now.
